Ethiopian Opal Sterling Turtle Pendant

This pendant is handmade with love and features an Ethiopian Opal set in .999 fine silver on a .925 sterling silver backplate. I started by sketching the turtle shape, sawing it out of sterling silver sheet, and then shaping the edges to get the final backplate shape. I set the Ethiopian Opal in a fine silver bezel and attached a hidden bail for the chain to thread through. 
This entire piece was sawed, filed, stamped, sanded, polished, and set by Aniya Marie. 
This pendant will come on a 17” sterling silver chain.
